Ocampo named his 6 suspects - but no arrests...yet...

So, the 6 have been outed - but no dramatic or symbolic carting off to the Hague sadly.  Apparently the ICC judges have to decide whether there is enough evidence for a case to be brought.

It is kind of sad the way Kenyan people are so forgiving and generally too nice. It is as if the atrocities of the 2007 election have been erased from the collective memory like a rather unpleasant dream. Rather than bay for the blood of these characters, there’s been not much more than a raised eyebrow locally. Everybody is so used to stories of corruption they are almost anesthetised to it. William Ruto continues in his attempts to get the Kenyan Government to divorce itself from the Rome Statute that states that ICC rulings are valid here. Francis Muthaura took out a full page advert in the local newspapers protesting his innocence. There was some furore over whether he used taxpayers money for this! – let’s not forget that Kenyan politicians do not have to pay tax...

The reaction to US Ambassador’s Wikileaks indiscretion, describing Kenya as a healthy breeding ground for corruption, damningly; that the President and PM have a ‘vested interest’ in failing to curb it, has caused outrage amongst Kenya’s leaders. Raila and Kibaki’s reaction; ‘let’s get him sent home’. You might think that somebody might feel the slightest bit contrite?

THESE IDIOTS ARE SO ANNOYING ARGHHHHH!!! I cant belive they just voted to withdraw Kenya as a signatory to the ICC Process. Since when did that save anyone? all it does is hung us kenyans out to dry and allow Impunity to fester. Liberia was not a Signatory of the ICC process yet C Taylor is standing trial, Mr Ruto. When we we ever learn and stop voting for these imberciles?? Honestly I cant imagine a time I felt less patriotic as I do now. Shame on so-called 'honourable MP's' we elect. Rant over!!

i pity the people of rift valley. my kalenjin bro n sistaz seem not to look for info themselves and they just follow these guys. i like the way martha karua is holding up parliament by herself for the people's interests against these vip[ers. what ruto must understand is 2012 there will NOT be a RIGGED election. no nadah! also they must realize 72% of kenyans want his head in the hague. stupid snakes telling us to contribute 350million while brothers waste away in camps. very dissappointing. they can gang up in parliament all they can but must realize that there is parliament politics and electorate politics. we'll sweep them out 2012.
if raila wants to lead again he must WAKE up and stand for the people instead of keeping mum. we cant have women giving birth in squalid conditions in the rift valley when ODM says it'll stand with Al capone alias al kosgey!!
    sooooo mad.
thank God for justice waki who caught them unawares and handed the list to ICC. take them ocampo and if posibles use them as manure in the hague rose garden if any.
