And the car came back with a small dent in the bumper....

ReplyDeleteTo be honest I'm a bit ashamed of myself. I couldn't help but feel irrationally cross about my car being slightly damaged. I'm sure it would have been easier to justify if we had actually bothered to go to the wedding and seen the joy on everyone's faces and how the car added to their day.
ReplyDeleteMy husband was v. cool about the car dent, took the moral high ground (somebody had to) and said it didn't matter and I was being unfair. He was right.
Awww... how touching. This story is so moving. I've seen a bunch of stuff, but this.... priceless! From the BBC media to the struggles and triumphs and through your lil gals 'interrogation', it was riveting. Now how about you post a pic here of the event- dont think he has privacy issues besides, you would be spreading his message of hope and perserverance. Some of us, would never have known had you not lent your car out. Tell hubby not to worry about the lil dent. 10 years from now, your memories and satisfaction will be valuable and the range-rover or Lexus will be junked. Again, great work. Pic please??
